The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers different desktop telephone models for faculty and staff. Some of these models are only available in certain buildings or campuses. Please refer to the appropriate reference guide for instructions on how to use the different telephone models available at the university.

Cisco VoIP Telephones

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has implemented the 7800 and 8800 Cisco IP phone series. These telephone models include many enhanced security options, such as the Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) 2 family, which provides stronger cryptographic hash properties.

Intuitive, space-efficient and gigabit to the desk. The ergonomic Siemens OpenScape Desk Phone IP family delivers a user-friendly, cost-effective and feature-rich communications experience. These models are still available at several building of the Boca Raton campus.
