Dilys Schoorman Receives Multicultural Educator Award for 2024

Dilys Schoorman, Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education was the recipient of the National Association for Multicultural Education’s (NAME) 2024 G. Pritchy Smith Multicultural Educator Award. Criteria for the award include evidence of long term, scholarly commitment to teaching from a multicultural perspective; the ability to blend theory with practice; and serving as an example of multicultural ideas and practices.
